For more than a century, Monarch Cement of Iowa has proudly served the region with high-quality cement. We serve as a storage and distribution terminal for cement produced by The Monarch Cement Company, based in Humboldt, Kansas.
Based in Des Moines, our facility includes 34 storage silos in two banks, with a storage capacity of approximately 66,000 tons of cement as well as a truck and rail unloading facility, shop, powerhouse and offices. Cement is unloaded 24 hours a day, five days a week, to serve all of our customers throughout Iowa and beyond.
